Dear Friends,

All 24 performances of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson sold out prior to the first show - but it doesn't mean you can't still see it. A large number of rush tickets will be sold every day at the Public Theater, one hour before each performance. Somewhat unbelievably, all tickets are only $10!!!

We couldn�t be more excited about the new writing, the hilarious cast, and the extremely cool design. We hope you can join us as we're incredibly proud of the piece and would love a strong Les Freres presence in the audience!

And some exciting news out West: the newest Les Freres show, joining The Great Depression and Elvis' '68 Comeback Special, will appear in a developmental production at La Jolla Playhouse this September in San Diego. It�s written by Sean Cunningham and Michael Friedman, two of the funniest writers working in theater today. Stay tuned for more information.

Dear Friends,

Beginning next week, the Public Theater will host a three-week developmental run of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and we couldn�t be more excited about all the new rewrites, the hilarious cast, and the extremely cool design. Information is below and, somewhat unbelievably, all tickets for the entire run are only $10. Half the shows are already sold out.

Just like Dance Dance, Hell House, Heddatron, and Boozy, this one will sell out its entire run prior to the first performance � if you want to come, we�d encourage you to act quickly, as we�d love to have a great Les Freres presence in the audience.

This December, Les Freres transforms the Ohio Theater into a fully immersive, bombed-out discoth�que as we fuse unmerciful Japanese rave music with deeply regrettable sophomoric comedy in this one-of-a-kind, futuristic dance spectacular, Dance Dance Revolution.

Riffing on fizzy dance-icals like Flashdance and death sport movies such as Rollerball, Dance Dance Revolution is set in an Orwellian society where dance is illegal. A group of local street toughs harbor no hope of overthrowing the fascistic no-fun government - until a mysterious dance prophet named Moonbeam Funk arrives.

Inspired by the wildly-popular video game, Dance Dance Revolution is like Footloose set in the future - but much scarier, and with 50 really attractive, barely-clothed young actors and buckets of free beer.

The company that created Hell House, Boozy, Heddatron, and A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant returns with a kick-ass slate of new subversive entertainment primed to further accelerate our nation�s decline.

In a futuristic Orwellian society where dancing is illegal, a group of local street toughs harbor no hope of overthrowing the fascist no-fun government�until a mysterious dance prophet named Moonbeam Funk arrives.

Loosely based on the wildly-popular video game, Dance Dance Revolution is like Footloose set in the future�but kind of scarier, and with 40 really attractive, barely-clothed young actors and buckets of free beer.

In honor of the agita-inducing upcoming election, a concert reading of Les Freres' new musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson will be presented on Monday, October 13th at 9.00pm at Joe's Pub. Jackson is a fast-paced, irreverent Wild West rock spectacular about the founding of the Democratic Party. It's got populism, emo rock, and lots of dead Indians.

Come celebrate Obama and McCain in '08 with the story of America�s first populist maverick.

Live Robots in LA!

Center Theatre Group, LA's premiere theater company, has once again shown the exceptional good taste to bring the Les Freres aesthetic out West. This coming June (as in '09), they will produce the West Coast Premiere of the LFC chestnut, Heddatron, by the whip-smart Liz Meriwether.

This insane show pits six live, hulking, near-sentient robots against Ibsen, Strindberg, and a surprisingly-heartbreaking modern-day Hedda Gabler story.

Ben Brantley of The New York Times called Heddatron:

Center Theatre Group to premiere BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON in LA!

Dear Friends of Les Freres,

We�re thrilled to announce that Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson will have its world premiere this coming season at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theater in Los Angeles.

Jackson is a fast-paced, irreverent Wild West rock musical about the founding of the Democratic Party. It's got populism, emo rock, and lots of dead Indians. It's also really funny. Music can be heard online at www.myspace.com/bloodybloodyandrewjackson

The show had a successful workshop this past Summer at Williamstown Theatre Festival and will be workshopped further this May in New York by Center Theatre Group. It will premiere in LA January-February '08, prior to a New York run later that year.
